IMPORTING CISCO ASAV IMAGES

The following procedure refers to the most recent and supported image only. Older images should work too. Remember that UNetLab image names are strongly suggested for lab portability.

Upload the downloaded image to the UNetLab master node using for example FileZilla or WinSCP. Then login as root using SSH protocol and uncompress it:

Now create the UNetLab image:

mkdir -p /opt/unetlab/addons/qemu/asav-941-200
mv asav941-200.qcow2 /opt/unetlab/addons/qemu/asav-941-200/virtioa.qcow2

Clean and fix permissions:

/opt/unetlab/wrappers/unl_wrapper -a fixpermissions

Start the first boot: Deze stap moet anders zijn:

/opt/qemu/bin/qemu-system-x86_64 --enable-kvm -serial none -nographic -nodefconfig -nodefaults -display none -vga std -no-shutdown -smp 1 -m 2048 -drive file=c/opt/unetlab/addons/qemu/asav-941-200/virtioa.qcow2,if=virtio,bus=0,unit=0,cache=nonei -vnc :0

Deze stap heb ik gebruikt:

Connect to the ASAv console via VNC using the port 5900 and force the serial interface:

ciscoasa(config)# cd coredumpinfo
ciscoasa(config)# copy coredump.cfg disk0:/use_ttyS0

UNL – EsxI – Virtualization error

Om de virtualization error te verwijderen doe het volgende:

Delete UNL uit de inventory (Remove VM from inventory)

Activeer SSH op de host (In EsxI)

SSH naar de host en ga naar de map van de VM.

VI de .vmx file en voeg het volgende toe:

“vhv.enable = true”

Voeg de VM toe in EsxI

Workstation/Player:

Verwijder de VM uit workstation/player (niet van disk)
Notepad de VMX file en voeg toe;

“vhv.enable = true”
